Purrcasso 2009!

I'm donating two pieces to Purrcasso this year. I'm really excited about the event and wish I could be there to see all the great pieces!! I had so much fun with a shadowbox-type piece I did for Purrcasso (I'll post it soon) that I can't wait to do another like it! I think this will be the next one :)

I addressed some really good notes from the first version, and did a bunch of experimenting. This is the newest version, so I thought I'd post it!

the lost fingers

I saw The Lost Fingers play tonight and drew this of the bass player while they were playing. I drew it blind (obviously) since it was too dark to see the page, but I kind of liked it anyway. Maybe I'll turn it into something!

I'm thinking of submitting this to the Purrcasso art auction - any crits or comments are very welcomed!! I'm already thinking of going back into her jacket/sweater. Any thoughts, let me know!
