I've been taking an online class at schoolism.com for the past few months (taught by Bobby Chiu). It still has a few assignments left, but I figured I'd post the ones I've done so far! It's a really cool program and I've learned a lot of new techniques. For each assignment, we are given a starting point and then we apply whatever technique we are learning about to the piece to finish it off. So the first piece of each image is what we are given, and the second is of our finished work. So it's not necessarily about how to paint, but more about tools, techniques and tips to use while painting - which is perfect for me, and I've learned a lot so far!

Wow, Gwynne! Those are really awesome! Is it an expensive course? I should really take the time to learn about color at some point. :) That's really cool that they cover painting hair - that always seems like a hard thing to do.
